About
About mytourguide.ph
mytourguide.ph is an editorial guide to travel in the Philippines, rebuilt on the original destination URLs.
mytourguide.ph began as a Philippine travel magazine on the web: destination essays, hotel notes, and a long list of things to do. This rebuild keeps that job. It is a set of practical guides for people planning a trip, written in English for readers in the Philippines and visitors.
The WordPress site stopped being a reliable way to publish. The guides that carried the library — Boracay, Baguio, Bohol, and the outdoor pages — are back on their original paths. Other provinces from the archive will return as they are rewritten, not as empty stubs.
What we publish
- How to move through a place: airports, boats, stations, and day order
- What a weekend costs in time and attention, not a live rate card
- Permits and advisories you should confirm before a climb or a volcano
What we do not do
- Sell rooms, flights, ferry tickets, or tour seats
- Promise that a trail or a parade will run on the day you arrive
- Keep a booking account or a hotel inventory
If a detail matters to your trip, confirm it with the local tourism office, the park, the port, or the Department of Tourism.
