STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE TO REGISTER YOUR GOMO SIM
Step 1: Download the GOMO App.
Step 2: Complete the form.
Step 3: Create a 6-digit pin.
Step 4: Registration Complete.
WHAT HAPPENS IF YOU DO NOT REGISTER?
Failure to register the existing SIM within the period prescribed shall result in the automatic deactivation of the SIM.
The deactivated SIM may only be reactivated after registration; provided, however, that reactivation shall be made not later than five (5) days after such automatic deactivation.
INFORMATION REQUIRED TO REGISTER YOUR GOMO SIM
The end user needs to provide the following information:
- Full name
- Date of Birth
- Sex
- Address
- Government ID with photo
- A declaration that the ID presented is true and correct
For corporations, the requirements are an SEC Certificate of Registration, a Board Resolution designating the authorized representative, and, in the case of other juridical entities, a Special Power of Attorney.

The official Identification cards that will be recognized when registering SIMs are as follows:
- Passport
- National ID
- Social Security Service ID
- Government Service Insurance System e-Card
- Driver’s license
- National Bureau of Investigation clearance
- Police clearance
- Firearms’ License to Own and Possess ID
- Professional Regulation Commission ID
- Integrated Bar of the Philippines ID
- Overseas Workers Welfare Administration ID
- Bureau of Internal Revenue ID
- Voter’s ID
- Senior citizen’s card
- Unified Multi-purpose Identification Card
- Person with Disabilities card
- Other government-issued ID with photo
REGISTRATION OF MORE THAN ONE SIM
Subscribers are permitted to use multiple SIMs, but they must register each SIM in their own name.
GOMO SIM REGISTRATION FOR MINORS
SIMs for minors shall be registered under the name of the parent or legal guardian.
SIM REGISTRATION FOR EXISTING GOMO CUSTOMERS
As an existing customer, GOMO will use your latest account info to conditionally register your SIM in compliance with RA 11934. You only need to upload a government-issued ID using the GOMO PH app to complete your registration, so please make sure that your account info is updated, fam! GOMO SIM REGISTRATION FOR FOREIGNERS
Your registered SIM will only be valid for 30 days if you are a foreign tourist visiting the country, and it will be automatically canceled after that.
GOMO SIM Registration for Foreign Tourists
Requirements
- Passport (i.e., copy of the bio-page and pages where the current visa is stamped or shown)
- Proof of address in the Philippines (booking in a hotel or other type of accommodation, or in the absence thereof, an affidavit/letter from the owner of the house or residence where such foreign national will stay)
- Return ticket to country of origin or to another country indicating date and time of departure from the Philippines
Foreign Nationals With Other Type Of Visa
Requirements
- Passport (i.e., copy of the bio-page and pages where the current visa is stamped or shown) indicating passport number, full name, and nationality
- Proof of address in the Philippines (booking in a hotel or other type of accommodation, or in the absence thereof, an affidavit/letter from the owner of the house or residence where such foreign national will stay)
- Other pertinent documents, whichever is applicable:
- Alien Certificate of Registration Identification Card (ACRI-Card) from the Bureau of Immigration or other types of official ID issued by any other visa-issuing agency
- Alien Employment Permit from the Department of Labor and Employment or School registration and ID for students
- For Persons of Concern or POCs, the type of travel or admission document validly issued by the Philippine Department of Justice
PENALTY FOR NON-COMPLIANCE
Laws specify penalties for both individuals and telcos.Â
False information or fraudulent identification, spoofing a registered SIM, or selling a stolen SIM are all crimes that are subject to a prison time of six months to 2 years and a P300,000 fine.
For refusing to register SIM cards, telecommunications may be fined between P100,000 and P1,000,000 depending on the severity of the offenses.
Additionally, telcos, their representatives, or employees who violate data confidentiality may be penalized with fines between P500,000 and P4,000,000 for their actions.
