  1. From Cubao, take the Victory Liner or FiveStar bus to Alaminos or Bolinao.

  4. Get off at Burgos town proper.
  5. Take a tricycle to Cabongaon Beach.

  1. Take NLEX-SLEX-TPLEX to Lingayen, Pangasinan.
  2. Travel east to Alaminos.
  3. From Alaminos, follow the road signs to Dasol. Drive until you reach Cabongaon Beach Burgos in Burgos.

  2. Captain Kidd’s Hideout
    The Captain Kidd’s Hideout kiddie pool and slides and the “Pirates of the Caribbean” aqua playhouse are designed for children and adults who want to have safe, clean fun in a shallow rubber-lined pool.
  3. Pacific Racer
    The Pacific Racer is a three-tube speed challenge slide in which participants race each other using special rubber mats as they launch from a height of 15 meters into claustrophobic spiral tubes leading to a high-speed exit 100 meters away.
  4. Mighty Maui River
    The Mighty Maui River is the Philippines’ longest lazy river, stretching 400 meters (1,312 feet). A powerful wave generator also provides an exciting ride for people on inflatables as they snake through islands, low-hanging bridges, and Fort San Agustin’s tunnel moat.
  5. Pira-Chute
    The Pira-Chute is an open spiral slide with at least two rotations before landing in a spray of water and foam.
  6. Riptide Reef
    The Riptide Reef boomerang slide features slip and turns for two riders on a special two-hole inflatable raft before sliding vertically into the bottom of a sheer wall. As the raft reverses direction and exits the landing pool, it experiences an extended free fall.
  7. Cyclone
    The Cyclone is the Philippines’ largest water slide! It’s a massive conical steel fiberglass structure 20 meters in diameter that can hold a four-person raft that drops from a six-story launch tube. As the raft swings on the funnel walls, riders experience near-vertical spins and wallops.
  8. Buccaneer Bay
    At nearly 5000 square meters, the Buccaneer Bay dual wave pool, one of the Philippines’ largest, offers families a distinct area where waves can range from 0.50 to 1.0meter height, and a separate venue for the brave boogie boarders more powerful tsunami waves at 1 to 1.5meter height, which can be programmed for would-be surfers wanting to learn the basics.

ABOUT SAN JUANICO BRIDGE

The San Juanico Bridge is part of the Pan-Philippine Highway. It looms over the country’s narrowest strait, the San Juanico Strait, which connects the province of Leyte to the nearby island of Samar. It is a steel girder viaduct with an arch-shaped truss design, with the longest length built on reinforced concrete piers. The San Juanico Bridge stretches for around 2.1 kilometers and is 10.6 meters wide.

The municipality of Sta. Rita, Western Samar, is on one end, while Barangay Cabalawan, Tacloban City, Leyte, is on the other. The bridge’s opening has improved the local economy of the provinces of Leyte and the three provinces of Samar Island, making it easier to carry goods and people. Apart from that, the San Juanico Bridge is one of the region’s most popular tourist destinations.

The bridge’s construction began in 1969, during Ferdinand Marcos’ administration. The government constructed the bridge with support from a Japanese engineering firm.

When the San Juanico Bridge was completed in 1973, it had a length of 2.16 kilometers, making it the country’s longest bridge at the time.  The 43-span bridge was constructed to withstand the region’s frequent earthquakes, typhoons, and other natural calamities.

The Asik-Asik Falls, also known as Dulao Falls, is located in Sitio Dulao of Barangay Upper Dado in Alamada, North Cotabato. It is located on the lower slope of Mount Ragang, an active stratovolcano on the border of Lanao del Sur and North Cotabato. Asik-Asik literally means “sprinkle-sprinkle” in Hiligaynon. It gets its name from dropping cold water into a shallow rocky pool at the mountain’s base. The pool’s collected water flows into an Alamada River tributary.
