Balabac Island is Palawan’s southernmost island. It is made up of 31 islands, many of which are uninhabited. Balabac is famous for its pink sand beaches, vibrantly colored coral, diverse marine life, endemic mouse deer, and friendly locals. It is known for its shallow waters due to the presence of shoals and numerous sandbars. Balabac has the third and fourth longest sandbars in the Philippines.
